Online Booking for West Beach Caravan Park, Moray Coast, Scotland.
The caravan park partly occupies the site of the old railway station which overlooks and includes West Beach. The disused railway line now connects Burghead and Hopeman with a two mile coastal path. This is popular with walkers and cyclists of all ages and the varied coastline attracts beach combers, rock poolers, surfers, climbers, twitchers, cyclists and runners.
The coastal path is well surfaced and is an easy route for prams, buggies, wheelchairs and balance bikes. To the East is the Hopeman East Beach where the iconic ‘Hutties’ can be found. The beach huts were previously located on West Beach but were relocated many years ago.

Booking Arrangements
West Beach Caravan Park is open from the 29th of March until the 26th of October.
Visitor cars are not permitted on the caravan park as a barrier with number plate recognition is in operation. There are carparks nearby at the harbour and Playing Fields where visitors can park.
Tents & Tourers
All the pitches have 16amp electric hook-up.
The park benefits from two separate shower blocks. A comprehensive list of all facilities available on the park can be found in the On Site Facilities page.
The length of your caravan is important as some pitches are not as deep as others.
A non-refundable deposit equal to £100 or the full value of the booking – whichever is lower – is required at the time of making your booking. The balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. You will be given the option to pay a deposit or pay in full at the final stage of making your booking.
Your pitch will be available from 1pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 12 noon on the day you leave.
Holiday Vans & Lodges
We have fourteen holiday units on the front of the site with uninterrupted views over West Beach and the Moray Firth. Our holiday vans & lodges include all necessary linen, towels, cutlery and crockery. A travel cot is available and should be requested when booking.
There are two wheelchair friendly holiday vans in the second row with ramped access and wet-room showers.
Wagons & Hutties
The Wagons are located in the Coal Yard and the Hutties are at the back of the park near the Middle Toilet Block. The Wagons are fully equipped – all you need is your duvet and pillow.
The Hutties are basically wooden tents with a sleeping platform that can be changed into a sitting area. You will need to bring all your camping and cooking equipment although the nearby Campers Kitchen does have a Toaster, Kettle and Microwave
To reserve a Holiday Van, Lodge, Wagon or Beach Hut we require a non-refundable deposit (maximum £100) with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. You will be given the option to pay a deposit or pay in full at the final stage of making your booking. Arrival from 4.00pm, and departures by 9.45am.
Bookings for Holiday Vans & Lodges are Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday for short stays and Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday for weekly bookings. The Wagons and Hutties can be booked to commence any day of the week but a minimum stay of two nights is required. Short stays are often released nearer to the arrival time.
